It’s amazing how many people are blinded by the money. I just got off the phone with some one who is into yet another “Program”. The company has a name that reeks of “Get Rich Quick” and short term money.
I’m not opposed to “Getting Rich Quick”, but the mentality that comes with many of the online Internet Businesses are hilarious. There are adults on the internet using YouTube, MySpace, Adwords, and other advertising mediums to sling these “here today - gone tomorrow” business opportunities.

To clear the record (and why I can rant about this) I have been in 2 of these companies. And this is what I have discovered. Business Opportunities that promote fast cash with little to no work leave a path of destruction behind that only hurts people rather than helps them.

In addition - online business opportunities with names that relate to quick money and riches typically have a life span of about 6 - 9 months MAX. I’ve been online for 3 1/2 years nows and have seen them come and go.

So when I receive phone calls about the next GRQ (Get Rich Quick) “program” - I run. And I hope you will to.
There are 3 major items to look for when considering a business opportunity (online or offline).

1. Does the Product have value?
The Product MUST bring a value. Because after all, as entrepreneurs we get paid on how much VALUE we bring to the marketplace.

2. Is the company legit?
The company or principles MUST have some sort of history or track record before I will put my name to it. In addition - I avoid companies that have names that are related to the hope of “Getting Rich Quick”

3. Would you be proud to have your name associated with the company / product?
This is important, because with the internet - everything is permanent. How would you like to have your grand children come up to you and say “Grandma / Grandpa, what is the Super Duper Easy Cash Flow Every Minute System? Is that how you made your fortune?”

No thanks, not me!

All I’m saying is that BEFORE joining a business - USE YOUR HEAD. Look past the hype and look into the future. There are plenty of business opportunities that SERVE the marketplace.

So the next time you’re tempted to put in your hard earned money into the slot machine of the “Super Duper Easy Accelerated Cash Generating System”… Remember this post.

I do have a blog where I review various business opportunities in full multimedia detail. Visit

It’s no secret, the failure rate of a Home Based Business is SKY HIGH! Yet thousands everyday continue to pursue their dreams and forge ahead despite the gloom looking numbers. What separates the true entrepreneurs and home business professionals from the here today gone tomorrow wanna be entrepreneurs?

I believe there are 3 main differences between TRUE entrepreneurs and wanna-be’s.

1. True Entrepreneurs have long term Vision
I got in this industry because of the freedom that it brings. True time freedom & financial freedom will not be accomplished in a quick fast run for money. Think of the tortoise and the hare. The hare jumped out of the gates fast, yet lost the race due to the lack of focus and vision. The tortoise WON the race - even though the hare had the ability to win. Why is that? The tortoise was committed to his vision, no matter how long it took him to reach the finish line.

2. True Entrepreneurs have successful habits
One of my early coaches and mentors Jeffrey Combs taught me that the separation of success and failure is dependent upon your daily habits. Again referring to the tortoise and the hare, the tortoise had a habit of moving forward. He new that each step he took forward would get him closer to his destination. He may have wanted to stop and take a break like the hare - but he kept moving forward.

3. True Entrepreneurs have a high tolerance for adversity
I don’t know of any successful entrepreneur who hasn’t overcome an obstacle or faced
extreme adversity. The Home Business industry is no different. Often times the direct sales and network marketing industry is perceived as a Get Rich Quick solution. You can “get rich quick”, but the reality is that most do not have the skill sets to produce a 6 or 7 figure income right away. And that’s why successful people make it. We’ve taken the time to develop skills, build relationships, and find ways to succeed - even when times were tough.

I believe that when true entrepreneurs discover their passion and play to win - it’s just a matter of timing when they will win their race of “success”.

Yes it’s true! SethDaley.com is no longer a static website. Trish Jones, the blogging queen has convinced me that my site should be hosted on a wordpress blog. Trish Jones was a guest on my Home Business Traffic Masters tele-seminar series yesterday where she talked about the importance of a blog and how to set it up. (She rocked the house!)

Over the past few weeks I’ve been interviewing some of the top underground marketers and heavy hitters when it comes to the home business industry. Home Business Traffic Masters tele-seminar series will be launching in just a few days, so watch closely!

In the meantime I’ve followed Trish Jones simple instructions and my blog is now up and running. Of course it will take some time to customize and start to integrate video (my favorite marketing method) and other important features on this blog.

Rest assured, this will be one of the main ways to communicate with you - my valued subscriber. Make sure to subscribe to my RSS feed, in addition to subscribing to my newsletter. Over and Out.
