Affiliate Marketing is the act of recommending or selling someone else’s product and receiving a referral commission for any sales produced.

What many network marketers don’t know is that affiliate marketing is one the best way to begin your sales cycle with your prospect.

I believe the number one reason many network marketers don’t stick around long enough to achieve their goals is because they aren’t in a positive cash flow situation.

Just imagine if your team stuck around long enough to grow a little bit, while making just a little extra money per month. Their skills would grow and they would grow. Then what would happen. After months of taking action they should start to produce some results.

And at the very least they would’ve built an automatic recurring income (if the products were positioned properly.)

So here’s 3 things you can do to integrate affiliate marketing into your online network marketing business:

1. Make a list of products that have had a positive impact on your business
These products can be anything from an informational “how to” course, to the auto responder
service that you use. If you have found value in these products, chances are your prospects
deserve to know about them too. (as they get to know, like, and trust you - they may come to join your business — now you have a trained marketer ready to move forward.)

Majority of the companies that you’ve purchased from will have an affiliate program. Sign up for it.

2. Share these products with your growing database and list.
As you are building your list, make sure to share your favorite products and share the benefits of using them to build your prospects business. This can be as simple as writing an email to your list and sharing 1-3 things you liked about the product.

3. Recommend a new product every 3-7 days.
While you’re building your list, add a new message in your auto responder every 3-7 days to automatically communicate with your prospects. Make sure to include your affiliate link.

Implementing these 3 minor changes can have a profound impact on the way you see and do business.

The new network marketers will have an opportunity to make money - even if nobody joins their business opportunity for 6 months. This could increase your own network marketing attrition rate as well.

Internet Marketers have known for a while the power in affiliate marketing. Network Marketers know the power of residual income. Combined together network marketing and affiliate marketing have the potential to increase one’s business substantially.
